Power Kazakhstan: The most significant international event in Kazakhstan on power engineering
The "Power Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering – Power Kazakhstan 2013" exhibition, in its thirteenth year, is the most significant international event in Kazakhstan on power engineering and will be held this year in Almaty at Atakent, the Kazakhstan Center of Business Cooperation, from October 29 to 31. The topic of the exhibition has been expanded and Power Kazakhstan will share the site with two other exhibitions: "Lighting Kazakhstan" with the theme of illumination, lighting technology, and LED technology, and "ReEnergy Kazakhstan" with the theme of RES, saving energy, energy performance, and cost-effective use of resources. The exhibitor is Iteca, the national exhibition company, in association with ITE, an international group of companies from Great Britain.
"Prospects for further development of market relations within electrical power engineering in the Eurasian economic area" is the focal point of the annual Kazakhstani power engineers forum that will take place on October 29, 2013 in the Congress Hall of Atakent (Best Western Atakent Park Hotel) in Almaty.
One hundred and sixty companies from the following 17 countries throughout the world will be present at the joint exhibitions of "Power Kazakhstan," "Lighting Kazakhstan," and "ReEnergy Kazakhstan": Austria, Armenia, Belarus, Hungary, Germany, Iran, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Finland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Japan. As always, China and the Czech Republic will be present at national stands. A delegation from the Industry and Trade Ministry of the Czech Republic is expected at the event. Armenia and Hungary will participate in the exhibition for the first time and will be represented by Cink Hydro Energy and VARA-FEG LLC.
This year, the exhibition area has been expanded by 20%. The dynamic nature of "Power Kazakhstan" demonstrates the positive development of Kazakhstan. Significantly, Kazakh companies will occupy approximately one-half of the exhibition area (44%). As usual, many Russian companies will take part at the exhibition and are expected to represent 20% of all participants. The Czech Republic will be one of the three leading participating countries at the event and will occupy 10% of the exhibition area.
Within the three exhibitions—"Power Kazakhstan," "Lighting Kazakhstan," and "ReEnergy Kazakhstan" – the world's leading companies will present their equipment, technologies, and services that meet the needs of Kazakhstan's Energy complex. As usual, experts from the Kazakhstani state enterprises JSC "KEGOC" and JSC "Samruk-Energo" will hold a series of meetings at their booths with prospective suppliers.
Through the exhibition's extensive business program, seminars and company presentations will be held throughout a packed schedule, in addition to the forum for power engineers. The "Promotion of Energy-saving Illumination in Kazakhstan," the draft development program of the UNO and the Global Environmental Facility, will hold seminars on the "creation of a regulatory and legal framework in the lighting industry" and a "lighting industry audit of external and internal lighting." More than 20 seminars and presentations are announced for the two-day business program.
The forum of power engineers consists of two sessions. As previously mentioned, the main topic of the forum and its first session is "Prospects for Further Development of Market Relations within Electrical Power Engineering in the Eurasian Economic Area." The second session will be dedicated to energy-saving technologies and innovations in the energy sector. The "Economic Encouragement of Energy-saving; Development of RES" seminar held by the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan will continue the work of the forum on prospects for balancing markets in Kazakhstan.
