Production of electric light hardware in Kazakhstan grew by 40%
For 7 months of this year, electrical equipment manufacturers in Kazakhstan produced 825.2 thousand lamps and other lighting devices, 40.1% more than a year ago.
High-voltage equipment for managing electrical circuits produced at 4.7 thousand pieces, 23.9% more than in the same period a year earlier, accumulators at 1.3 million, plus 10% on-year.
The production of fibre-optic cables increased by 70.1%, to 1.1 billion tenge, and by 2.1 times was increased the production of other electronic and electrical wires and cables, up to 723.8 million m.
The output of transformers decreased by 9.6% year-on-year, to 17.3 thousand units.
In terms of value, the production of electrical equipment grew by 5.5% on-year, to 67.4 billion tenge.
The southern regions are led by Almaty, accounting for 27.1% of country total, and Turkestan region accounting for 18.9%.
The prices for electric lamps increased by 5.7% in the last year. Refrigerators and vacuum cleaners went up in price almost by 7%, irons by 8.2%, washing machines by 5.3%.
In general, household appliances for the year 2017 increased in price by 6.4%. According to the results of the first 7 months of the current year, the increase in prices to the same period a year earlier reached 5.8%.
