Kazakhstan Engineering to focus on development of three clusters of defense industry
The company Kazakhstan Engineering will focus on development of the armored, aviation and rocket-fuel clusters in Kazakhstan. This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of the company Aset Kurmangaliyev at the V International Exhibition of Arms and Military-Technical assets KADEX-2018.
"In order to meet the needs of the domestic market and export promotion, the company plans to develop promising clusters that will create a multiplier effect in the machine-building industry and will also expand the range of services. The clusters announced in the near future will become the key directions of Kazakhstan Engineering company - the armored, aviation and rocket-fuel ones," Kurmangaliyev said.
He recalled that in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State in the coming years, technical modernization of nine enterprises of the military-industrial complex will be carried out in Kazakhstan.
"Modernization will increase the localization of production from 30 percent to 70 percent, as well as to increase the country's defense capacity through its own production and expand the export of military equipment," Kurmangaliyev concluded.
