Kazakhstanis assess quality of electricity supply in the country
The Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the Energy Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted a survey of consumers on the quality of electricity supply, Kazpravda reports.
According to the press service of the Energy Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the survey was conducted in a similar manner to the survey of the Global Competitiveness Index of the World Economic Forum. To assess it, the interviewed respondents were asked the question "How would you rate the quality of electricity in your country?" (power outages and voltage drops). In response, the respondent puts a corresponding score (from 1 - in general unreliable power supply, up to 7 - a very reliable power supply).
About 2.7 thousand respondents were interviewed. According to the survey results, the average score was 5.6 points.
The survey of consumers takes place on an ongoing basis, to participate in the survey, it is necessary to fill out a questionnaire on the website of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the Energy Ministry.
