THE ENI ITALIAN COMPANY HAS BUILT A WIND POWER FARM IN AKTOBE REGION
The construction of the wind power farm was launched in December 2019.
Eni Italy company commissioned a 48 MW wind farm in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan, Kazakh Invest said.
The first foreign wind farm for Kazakhstan and the first in the region project in the field of renewable energy sources were implemented by the Italian investors in the Aktobe region - the information says.
The construction of the wind power farm was launched in December 2019. "Every year, they plan to generate about 200 GW/h. (...) According to experts, the project will reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere by more than 172 thousand tons per year," the report said. The cost of the project is about $100 mln.US dollars.
